Bowl For Kids’ Sake Set for May 3rd and 4th, 2008

This year’s Bowl for Kids’ Sake event is really gearing up. The date has been set, the first planning committee meeting has taken place, and mailings have begun.

The Kick-Off Breakfast (invitation) has been scheduled for March 11, 2008, 8:00 am, Route 40 Holiday Inn. This event promises to be a real great time. Trophies for last year’s first, second and third place leaders in pledge money will be awarded, with new award categories being announced for this year’s event.

How it works:

Pull your friends and co-workers together to form a team. Have people pledge a donation for one game (i.e. 50¢ per pin, 10¢ per pin, etc.). After the event, collect your donations and turn it in to BBBS. We have found that business sponsors prefer to donate a set amount – that's ok too! To make it easier, this year we are also accepting credit card payments through PayPal.

For those who have organized multiple groups, you can set a special day with the Terrace or Village lanes. Their PPP event (Pepsi-Pizza-Pins) is offered at a special price and includes 2 games of bowling. For more information, please contact Sushil at (301) 694-9455.

Throw a Bowling Party!

If your group or business is not available on the weekend of the event, we can arrange for your company to bowl on other days. Organize one of more teams and call BBBS for a time to bowl.

Did we mention it's FREE for you to BOWL?

That's right. Just present your filled-out sponsor sheet, and receive one free game of bowling, shoe rental and many chances to win great prizes. Sponsor sheets available from BBBS.
